From the pics I gathered here on the forum, I can only see "Lusitania" written on both sides of the tank, on an outer front up position (OFU). Why are there 3 "Lusitania" decals on Landships sheet? Is it some sort of spare?
Yep, there's a mistake in the old sheets. I'll put a new scan on my website. The new Black Lion sheets will carry as from now just 2 times the name Lusitania and one C-47 marking for the rear box. Sorry!
I'm disappointed - I'd hoped it would be one of Col Swinton's psychological warfare wheezes along the lines of getting the German anti tank gunners so busy trying to work out why the tank had an extra name that they'd forget to open fire on it
