Thanks. I'm finding some more info now, mostly how it compares to its German counterpart. Close up Pictures of the flamethrower�are extremely scarce. I couldn't find a�patent but maybe I'm not searching correctly, I'll keep trying. I'm pretty sure photos are out there somewhere. But�I'm starting to think that the Schilt had no tactical benefits to the war at all!

I dug up so information for myself. The French Flamethrower were merely modified and improved German flamethrowers. They're tactical use is not really well known. I'm sure it wasn't so great because of the primitive flamethrower technology that was used during that time. But Im certain that psychological effects were enormous. Flamethrowers made their way to magazines and newspapers. But the exact stats on the weapon I still don't know. The Schilt is most likely almost the same as early German flamethrowers but I need to be sure.
