I've had another loong period of too much work and no play, but hopefully I will soon be able to both update the site, answer e-mail AND even do some modelling myself - horray!
And I have already started work on WD Models Brits, and they are AMAZING. The uniforms, the detail, the sculpting, the poses, the anatomical proportions, everything is top notch! (If you enlarge a pic of them, you could think some of them are 1:35.) And the poses are relaxed, casual - perfect for diorama work. These are the best 1:72 Great War figures that money can buy!
I have assembled about half of them - many comes with separate arms and a choice of heads - and washed them, and hopefully will start painting this afternoon.
Well, I didn't get around to do as much hobby work as i hoped in the post above - that's life for you.
Until now.
I have updated my review of the WD Models figures, with more text, photos (and even some painting tips). And as mentioned above, these figures are super!!!

Fantastic - they've even done the shoulder reinforcement pads on the tunic! Just one minor correction to your figures Peter - the boots would usually be brown, not black. Here's my WW1 boots, replicas, made by the same company using the same tools that made them in WW1
