Old Retrokit Russians & Belgians

The original Retrokit used to advertise "Russian and Belgian Machine-gunners" in the "coming soon" department, but they never seemed to materialise. I assumed that the company packed up before they were produced, but I've heard a rumour that someone actually got hold of some. Has anyone ever seen them?

Yes,

I held them in my hands at Trucks & Tracks a few years ago (and didn't buy them!). I also saw the Belgian set in a diorama last saturday and I photographed it! Will post later.

Just for good order's sake: only the marching figure is an old Retrokit figure. The maker of this diorama, Jörg Schneider, informed me that he made the Minerva crew himself.

Michel.

PS Mario: superb photo; looking forward to seeing your other photo's! biggrin

Tremendous. The figure with the dog team looks like a Carabinier. Are the moulds still in existence?
