Having a struggle trying to identify this motorcycle used in the filming of 'The Blue Max' - i've ruled out Triumph model H, Clyno, Douglas and Phelon & Moore, i'm currently thinking BSA or Enfield? BSA's seemed to have a thick black ring several inches away from the tire inbetween the spokes though
Hmmm. Going off on a tangent, those puttees look a bit suspicious.
Funnily enough, I came across a site with a lot of m/cycles of the period the other day. I'll try to find it again.

Hi, even if it is a Bsa etc theres no reason why the wheels should be original, its probarbly a 1020's 350 single, I had a royal enfield which didnt look so different from 1927, I'll take a look I have the blue max.......
Notice what looks like a tax disc holder on the right fork.......
If you scroll down about halfway, you'll find some Eysink (Dutch) bikes, including a couple with what looks like a Schwarzlose fixed to the handlebars. Not sure if it's Great War or later.
