Beutepanzers on ebay?

Could one of our German speaking friends please translate what this photo shows:

http://cgi.ebay.de/NR-22-PANZER-TANK-SAMMELPLATZ-BEUTEPANZER-WESTFRONT_W0QQitemZ200329927671QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMilitaria?hash=item200329927671&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2%7C65%3A1%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

I think it says its a beutepanzer park. If so, it shows a captured Whippet; maybe one of the ones the freikorps later used.

Well ... it says:

"Rare picture. Gathering place for captured tanks at the Westfront."

But ... it also can be everything. I am not quit sure wether the soldiers are German or British.

Thanks elbavaro.

I agree, the picture on ebay is not such great resolution, so it is tricky to say whether they are British or German; could be feldmutz (?) or could be service caps.

However, as it says 'captured tanks', and they could be feldmutz, I'm swaying towards thinking this is a picture that shows a beutepanzer Whippet from before the freikorps existed, ie during the war rather than after it.

Bonsoir,
I agree you, it's a whippet alone on right.
I have removed cross and do a picture in 800x600 with photoshop but it's always difficult for soldiers.

I agree PDA, but I think it is more like the British caps. So if they are Germans the soldiers shoul be officers or NCOs. They don't look like .... but you never know.

Bonjour,
There is white numbers on the two tanks (right of the whippet) anb behind the 3 soldiers in the middle of the photo. May be B (?) 18 or 19 and A33. But I am not really sure. . . .

Michel
