I just bought a new and fantastic book about the Breda firm.

The books mentions artillery production at Breda during the Great War (1915-1918) as 687 210 mm mortars and 480 14,9 cm howitzers. The last one of course was the Krupp 15 cm Haubitze.
Kosar mentions this weapon as produced by Vickers in Italy, but he has been proven wrong before.
It is fo course possible that the howitzers were partly produced, for instance barrals at Breda and carriages at Vickers-Terni. Breda also made parts for the 75mm Deport field gun carriage.

Does anybody have more info?

Kind regards,
Nuyt

Interesting info. The Krupp commercial 149mm M-1913 field howitzer exported to Bulgaria and Italy, and then subsequently built in Italy as the Cannone da 149/12 modello 1914 has also been reported elsewhere to have been built under license at Ansaldo in Genoa.
