I'm a Brit living in Italy. My great uncle Harold George Macklon served as a Private in WW1, and afterwards wrote a memoir of his experiences in the war. I hope to get Harolds story published and as such have spent the last couple of years reasearching WW1. I haven't spent much of this time on tanks and weapons yet, so I was very interested to find this forum and see how much info and passion there is out there about the subject.
