DSC02329.JPGI've I've just been messing about with a camera and took this shot of my white metal Schneider in 1/76 scale. The dispatch rider is from the Airfix model and the lorry adapted from the KeilKraft Dennis fire engine.

Hi jellytwig looks pretty good, what make is it?... i would never have thought the truck was made from the KK Dennis fire engine...

Plse I am VERY interested in the make of your Schneider 105mm. It is a lovely piece of kit!. I take it that this is a white metal kit?

WWI artillery for the lesser theatres is of great interest to me. Currently I am doing it by converting, but if there are good models at reasonable prices then great!

It mentions the Skytrex 1/76 white metal kit.


That is a great dio, jellytwig. I have wondered how the Airfix dispatch rider would look.

Hi Ironsides,    I believe the Schneider is by SHQ and came with an alternate set of steel wheels with pneumatic tyres. It's a nice quality casting and apart from a little fettling, drilling the barrel and thinning the shield is out of the box.
