There are buses, cable carts, pigeons, donkeys, motorbikes and Canadians. How many can you identify? Give a time frame reference as well as your answers. The winner gets a visit from Papa Lazarou.

00:20 Sunbeam staff car

00:20 Douglas 2 3/4hp Motorcycle (shape of tank)

00:40 lorry moving towards camera is Albion A10, solid wheels and shape of the rear tilt of most of the lorries going away from camera makes me think Leyland Subsidy

01:05 Albion A10 convoy

01:54 Rolls Royce Silver Ghost staff car

02:20 Ford model T water carrier, or an Autocar water carrier, staff car going by is a Sunbeam

02:29 reckon Leyland Subsidy again for the next few seconds, including the one stuck in a hole

02:59 definitely Ford model T

03:40, Albion? But not so sure, think maybe a Vauxhall staff car behind

04:00 Sunbeam staff car, not sure on the lorry behind

04:10 FWD 3 tonner pulling out what looks like an American lorry

04:31 Albion A10

05:13 Albion A10

05:19 horse drawn field kitchen

05:24 Daimler? charabancs

05:31 GS Wagon

05:55 AEC B type bus

06:00 Daimler lorry going by

06:11 No idea what these light vehicles are, pretty though!

06:21 Holt

06:42 Albion A10's

07:32 Peerless lorries

07:57 GS Wagons

06:19 GS Wagon

09:28 GS Wagon

10:03 Cable Cart

10:17 Very well laden GS Wagon

10:49 could be a Ford model T, just about to see before it cuts away!

10:54 water cart

11:57 GS Wagons and various limbers

Great bit of film

Oh, and no wife, but I wouldn't mind a couple of pigs

This is a problem with the CFB  from past experiance it will come back on line later be patient the films in question are some of the best you will have seen. The one with the Light Railways is the best I have ever seen.

Great War Truck, it might be that you have an over-zealous pop-up blocker. The link I have posted takes you to a page and immediately a full screen viewer pops up in a new window.

This is a tinkered link to the same film:

http://www3.nfb.ca/ww1/wartime-film.php?id=531402

Click on 'plein ecran' to make it 'whole screen'.

Got it. What a marvellous clip of film. I think Rob has just about got them all identified. I would offer some more thoughts or suggestions for discussion.

The one at 0.34 might be a Maudslay.
1.05, i think these might be Peerless (wooden wheels)
2.37 the one in the hole looks like a Commer
3.05 Thornycroft
3.34 Locomobile i think
4.00 Undecided, but interesting.
4.10 The American truck being towed out is a Peerless
5.24 First one is a Peerless then Locomobiles
6.11 Vulcans
7.32 Pierce Arrow
