Dose anyone know where I might find WWI Russian infantry in 1:35? I know that MasterClub Models make some resin ones, but these are only available in the US and Russia, as far as I know. I know for a fact, that both ICM's Franco-Prussian War Prussians and Zvezda's WWII Russian infantry with a peaked cap added seperately will do the trick fairly convincingly, but apart from the previous sugested, dose anyone else know if complete kits exist?
Regarding 1/35, there two refs I think you can use, the first one is the Cossak/NKVD soldiers from Alanger. The box provides fur hat and peaked caps and the uniforms are reasonably close to WW1 with few changes. The second one is the 203mm gun crew from Trumpeter. Those guys are fantastic to depict winter clothes for WW1 and civil war.
Thanks! They do look pretty realistic for the job! I also have a spare budenovka lying around. A Red army soldier riding on Emhars Haermaphrodite with Red markings comes to mind...
