Dated 2.7.1917 on reverse. I think this is one of those provisional MWs discussed on page 74 of Herbert Jäger's book.

Any further information would be appreciated.

Hiya,

This is a Magener Werfer, on which the Genter Werfer was based. Any futher info would indeed be very welcome. If any dimentional info is available, I can at last draw this gun... Does anyone at least know the calibre?

-Arie.

Hiya Gents,

The caliber is indeed 15cm. It has taken a year, but here are my scale drawings. Without your help these drawings would not exist! Cheers!!!

With kind regards,

-Arie

Super work there Arie. That diagram will be a handy reference. Well done

The reverse of the card, dated July 1917 says:

"Esteemed Kinal family, have arrived well in the Vosges Mountains but there is no bed to be had, and we are already hard at work. Kind regards, Sergeant Grimminger. Please respond when received."
