Japanese Turret Gun?

Would like to find some information, if possible, about this gun.� I am not sure if the gun was stationed in Japan or Korea.� My father, in photo, was stationed in both�locations during the Korean War.� This image�is circa 1952.

I know my father didn't fight against this gun.� I am just curious if I can find anything about it!
