Hello all, my name is John, i come from Greece, nice to meet yoy, before i say anything i want to tell you, my English are not so good, so if i make too much wrong's forget me Well as i say i come from Greece, i am a lover of the ww1 history and excavator, my grounds places and all around on my home was battlefields, and ww1 and ww2. Few miles along my Village(Goumenissa Greece Macedonia) the places are too heroics and bloodiests, i talk about battle of Skra, or Skra di Legen.
The Battle of Skra di Legen was a World War I battle which took place on May 16, 1918. It was victorious for the allied troops with a decisive Greek contribution. In May 1918 Greek military units held a leading part in the battle of Skra di Legen, the most important among the local offensives, resulted in the capture of a particularly fortified position, controlled until then by the Central Powers, chiefly Bulgarian troops. The battle of Skra di Legen confirmed in the eyes of the allies the fighting readiness of the Greek army that has practically just been restructured. After that the preconditions for the allied counter-attack have been laid, that was launched in September 1918 (the Vardar Offensive). This has been marked by a series of victories and continuous advances of the allied troops against the Central Powers.
About me: i love excavations on Skra di Legen battlefields and 3 of 7 days of the weekend im be there, i have make a video about skra but is old and i want to make a new: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W92IFAhDX4c

Welcome to the forum, John. I also enjoyed your Youtube video. You live in a beautiful and historic region (when armies aren't fighting over it). I feel that I must add my concern to that of Michel Boer, having seen you manhandling large artillery shells and grenades. Please don't blow yourself up.
