Hi there as i am new to the forum i hope this posting will be added to the correct thread. I came acroos a thread of the WW1 swiss helmut, partly designed by paul Boesch. Here is a pic that i have found recently whilst searching info on the famous swiss artist. Showing a lonely soldier gaurding the Swiss mountain region Graubunden dated 1909
Yes indeed...dramatic...could not resist buying this...just for the artist! I also have some original pics of the Boer war and the long tom cannon on a train...as some of the generals of the time......any interest in posting them here?
'09 or '19, I got it, no problem! here a picture of one of your kinsmen, the style has some similarity with the one you posted. I think the initials of the artist here are G.D. but it's hard to figure.
