Good evening,

I'm wondering confuse how most of You can answer (any) question concerning WW1 in in a short time, I suppose some are "specialists" in a materie (Aie, Tks,...), but how do the rest of You: remembering Photo's, Txt's, ... . Do You use a personnel Data Base, are there any links to make such a Data Base, is it just rememberance, ...and much reading (and have a lot of books).

I'm not computer minded but I'd like to have a Data base just concerning vehicles (armoured or not) of WW1. Tks for hints.

PS: This site is already a great DB

I do use databases, many of them actually, but I also have a very good pictorial memory. I just know if I've seen a photo before, or something like it, and that allows me to link together photos that perhaps others haven't. Every scrap of information I can obtain from the photos is then recorded in one or more of the databases, which also contain information gathered from records held at various archives. I don't think the system or software really matters that much. It's whatever works for you.

Tks Gwyn,

Just don't know were to start, everyone on this forum is a "specialist" and talks about number of rivets in an armout plate, I would already  be happy to recognize the vehicle hmm
