155mm howitzer? i.d. assistance

   Fellows,

Could anyone provide guidance as to existing documentation or a possible database that may record this weapon? It can be found in Mentor, Mn. and was apparently placed there c.1926 on the local school grounds per agreement with American Legion Post 421 [Mentor Herald (print discontinued)]. Post commander and second war vets are unable to relate info. Great Northern Railroad records also omit. Please respond with any make/model history or usage if identification can be established from photo below. Thank you.
