Does any member know where I can find a Caquot balloon kit from RosePlane in 1/72 scale? I have been searching for this vacuform kit since RosePlane went under and have had no luck.

Hi Ronald

I wasn't aware that Roseplane made a Caquot! After a lot of searching I did manage to acquire their Drachen for something approaching a reasonable price, and it's still only half made (time and other distractions on the workbench I'm afraid!).

You've started something now, as I've been after a 1/72 Caquot or a barrage balloon to convert to it for ages so that my British or French will have something to observe with.

The search is on!!

Cheers

Paul B

Hi ! I know that you can get both balloons at Modellbaustudio Rhein -Ruhr in Essen, Germany. I built both and must say it wasn't as easy as it seems.

I know some place in Canada that seems to be a source.
I'll get back to you on it.

Greetings, Josh
