Hello Every One, I ran across some French Rail Gun drawings, and some information I thought might be of some interest.
1.Materiel de 274 Mle 87 ou 93 sur affut truc a glissement.
A typical example of the Schneider sliding mount, showing the heavily reinforced trunnion bearings. the jacks to lower the mounting blocks and an overhead rail for supplying ammunition to the loading table.
This drawing shows the vertical ground spades incorporated in the Batignolles design of ground platform. The weapon also has an unusual and novel design of elevator for conveying the ammunition from the magazine truck to the gun mounting.
A friend of mine from Germany sent them to me, I am sorry I don't no what book they are from., I have alot more I can post if you wish, I also have there technical information, I will try and post more tomorrow.
Well, they are the same drawings, and judging by how faint they were I imagine it's the same book (they're printed in dark blue ink on pale blue paper, so it's difficult to get a good, clean copy from it).
Sadly, there's no Russian or Italian stuff.
However, I expect you've seen these, but if not...
