Hello,

I'm looking for the names and first names of some Commanders of German tanks and units:

 

Hptm. Ernst-Moritz von Frankenberg und Proschlitz (Stu.Pzkrwg.Abt.12)

Hptm. ??? Negerborn or Negenborn (Stu.Pzkrwg.Abt.14)

Ltn. Josef Goldmann (A7V #563  "Wotan")

Ltn. Ludwig Fritsch (A7V #543 "Prinz Adalbert")

Ltn. Johannes Stein (A7V #542  "Elfriede") 

 

Correct if I'm wrong, please.

If not sure about the spelling of a family name, this is a useful tool:

So what is this good for? It shows that today there is nobody in today's Germany's with a registered phone whose family name is Negerborn - and there are 39 phones registered for Negenborn so around 104 people in Germany carry that family name.

Which means for your research, Negenborn is more likely than Negerborn.
