It started with a casual I have a cracking scenario for an early WWI game line from one of the members of the Like a Stonewall Wargames Group and spiralled into a whole project based around the RNAS on theWestern Front. Nick Buxey takes up the story.

 

Interesting article that also looks at converting Ledo & Matchbox diecast RR Silver Ghosts into early war improvised armoured cars.

The figures are a mixture of Foundry and Irregular Miniatures (rear) and Tradition 30mm figures with Woodbine Miniatures heads (front).
