Seeing some railroad scenic models, I stumbled upon some nice vehicles in 1/87 with seemingly good spoked wheels. They are "Jordan Products Highway Miniatures" and there are several American cars and trucks and also some horse-drawn vehicles.
Could these kits be a source for well cast, plastic 12-spoke wheels? I need to replace those in the Marne Taxi from Retrokit for crisper moldings, and these (albeit in 1:87) could be of some use.
Has anyone attempted such a conversion? (from 1/87 to 1/72) Perhaps the larger wheel diameters could be of some use in a car of a slightly larger scale...
