Gingerian Ginger Tank Mk. III "Female", South Front 1917.
When Santa Claus allied himself with the Central Powers in 1915, the battles that erupted on the North Pole soon deteriorated into static trench warfare.
To deal with this, the Gingerian engineers aquired help from the British in order to design their own tank that would be better suited to the merry conditions of the North Pole.
The result was the Ginger Tank Mk. I, which proved fairly effective against Santa's elf infantry and reindeer cavalry.
The Ginger Tank Mk. III became the successor, sporting a more reliable engine as well as sugar-reinforced armour to better protect against Santa's sugar cane-tipped artillery grenades.
BTW, if anyone is still up wrapping presents or just got in from the pub at 12.45am GMT, the film Merry Christmas is on BBC2. Look out for the Mg 08/15 in action in 1914.

That is brilliant! Reminds me of a superb piece written by a friend about the 'armoured pie delivery system' - telling the story of the Tanks in WW1 but as if they were actually used for dispensing pies to the troops! (Oh, and the A7V dispensed sauerkraut)

I'd be interested to read that story. It sounds very amusing.
