I have some military postcards and looking for help with identification of it.

The Gun is a 17-cm SKL/40 "Samuel" in Rad-Laffette with the name "Möses" on the barrel.

Big thanks, françois! What about tractor on 1st photo?

Is Samuel and Moses names of guns (like tanks names) or guns types (like skl/40)?

Hello,

The name "Samuel" is a code name for all the naval gun 17-cm SKL/40 used on Land.The name "Möses" is the particular name of this gun.
I have a series of seven photographs of the gun named "Möses" (three with Tractor) and the tractor is a Lanz 120 PS, I think that your photograph shows the same Lanz tractor.
