archive.org has the following books by Stanley Wasburn a newsman from the times who covered the war on the Eastern Front in WW I. note: they are somewhat sugarcoated the Russian Army fighting bravely ect: but the first 3 do contain a number of pics:

"Field notes from the Russian Front 1914-15"

"The Russian Campaign April-August 1915"

"The Russian offensive"

"Victory in Defeat"

From the Great War Forum's The Eastern Front section there are posted on 23 dec 2010 the Russian WW I magazine War Notes 1914-1917 Voennie Letpois lots of pics

Axis History forum's first World war section 15 dec 2010 Battle of lake Naroch 1916 an account written in 1938 of the battle by a communist with an attitude like some of their WW II/GPW accounts. This is about the disasterous Russian offensive that took place there.

I hope the above is some use to you all.
