Not the East German one of course, but the one that formed as a result of the Imperial German Navy's post WW1 mutiny. All the information I could find was in my Osprey book on the German Freikorps, and it indicated that the Communist revolutionaries, though many in number, were a poor military force overall and were defeated by the fewer but far more competent German regular military.
As for the sailors themselves, did they receive any sort of infantry training? I wondered if they ended up using any weapons they could get their hands on any old how, without knowing how to use them to advantage.
