In our school our Y9 students have to make a model trench diorama (or they can do a poster or essay if they wish). My son and his friend opted to make the model, even though neither of then enjoys model making); I suspect they wanted to leverage me for advice
I painted the figures, airbrushed on the snow, and actually did the boring making of barbed wire, but apart from that it's their work - which for two people with no experience or real interest I don't think is bad!
