I have the drawings from Bovington but they relate to the Mk1 tank, the Mk IV gun has a different setup from the splash shield inwards.
Thats from what I can make out in the many photographs I've studied.

Is this any use?

It's not much, but it may help you work out other dimensions using plans.

The shortened 6 pounder 6 cwt Mk I of single tube construction was introduced in January 1917 in the Mark IV tank, and may be considered the world's first specialised tank gun.
The shortened barrel incurred a reduction in muzzle velocity, but as tank guns in World War I were used against unarmoured or lightly armoured targets such as machine gun nests and artillery pieces at relatively short ranges of a few hundred yards, this was not a major disadvantage.
The Mk II gun was developed at the same time, having a built-up barrel construction.

Info from Wikipedia, Its the MkII gun I'm hoping to find plans or dimensions for. Sorry for the hassle

I'm sorry to revive an old thread, but did someone come across any new information on this gun in the meantime? I am now also looking for more information on this piece. Any photographs, drawings or measurements would help me a lot!

The AWM website lists one of these (see: www.awm.gov.au/collection/RELAWM05041/ ), does someone know if this is open for public? Does someone know a photo "walk-around" of this item? I was unable to find one.

Best regards,
Thorsten
