Bad news indeed. You really have to wonder where some people get their info from! As a young fellow I crossed the fence of the Mephisto outdoor, covered enclosure at the old Museum site in Brisbane and entered Mephisto for a look around. As I recall there was one particular area of battle damage where a shell had penetrated the top of the tank thus producing a few jagged steel sections into the interior. Not being as careful as one should be, the top of my head came into contact with one of these metal spikes and shall we say, a small amount of red fluid and a lump was the result. Definitely proof of existence shall we say! Rod
