Very nice! Czech Legion in Siberia ( 1918-1920 ) was a major armed force. These forces had about 40 armored trains. Besides work in Siberia Polish, Romanian and Japanese armored trains. Yours Krzysztof from Poland.

Nice picture! I did a research on Chinese armored trains two years ago. Quite a few of the Czech Legion armored trains ended up in China(including the famous Orlik) and formed the basis of Fengtian Clique armored train squadrons.

Is there any good books/articles devoted to Czech Legion's armored trains?

P.S. I find the two mortars(? small guns nevertheless) very interesting. Can anyone identify them?

Thanks for identifying the mortar.

I know it seems difficult to type non-English language in this forum, but could you please provide a link to where these books are sold?

Thanks a lot! Do these works talk much on Orlik's situation in China? I know that it remained in Fengtian army's armored trains squadrons until 1932 when it was lost in a fight against Japanese. I have found the Japanese account regarding Orlik's last fight in 1932, but beside that I know quite little. Was it still manned by Czechs/White Russians for some time after it was under Chinese control?

BTW, is it possible to buy these publicans somewhere on the Internet?

It is possible that the book is no longer available.

Subject armored trains in the civil war in Russia is very interesting. It lists the number of 400 units, but this is the amount of underreported (about 700 pieces ). The journal  Polish is  armored draisine Zaamurets  drawing. Yours.

Thank a lot!
I found maybe 30 Zaamurets/Orlik pics on the web, but a comprehensive book on the subject would be welcome!

The description is in Japanese. I remember that Orlik was once in Japanese hand for a short time in 1919 or 1920, I think this is when this photo was taken.

These books Osprey are just popular. It was released in France the book   P. Malmassari Les trains blindes 1826-1989  but some of the information is no longer valid. I have all these books. Yours.
