The art comes straight off a 'Tank Week' poster issued in the Uk during WW1. It's very very nice stuff, got a couple of bottle at Tankfest and took a few photos of a bottle posed on the Mk IV replica!
Ughhh, I despise Spitfire ale, I'm an ale drinker but absolutely can't stand the stuff, nasty - good marketing but apart from the 'lol Spitfire!' effect it's nothing special
Also Recomend Vaux's 'double Maxim' though, named in honour of the brewery owners son on his return from the Second Boer War who commanded a Maxim gun section
Since we cannot get Landship beer here in the US, we have to settle for either "The Kaiser" or the "The Czar." Both are legitimately good beers and are seasonal.

Ah yes, had to invest in a few of those myself at Tank fest, just for R&D purposes you understand, not because of the taste or the fact that it was rather good you understand. Also, you have to buy several so you get a good bench mark in case of inconsistances or a least that's what I told the wife, who didn't belive me for some reason!
