Many thanks for this - much appreciated as it touches on some current research. It is really interesting to have the photos because they help clear up the potential confusion arising from the use of 'Whippet' by some reports of the time to refer to armoured cars.
Shame the last photo mentioned in the thread (Ennis Bridge) is now gone - it sounds as if the location could be positively identified for the tanks as with the armoured cars.
