info about "Albrecht" needed!

Hi all,


I´m planning my next diorama and want to include an "Albrecht" mortar (you know, the famous mortar with a barrel made of wood). I have to scrachtbuild it, so I need all kind of info: plans, pics, technical data (firing mechanism, calibre, etc.). Can you give me any help?

   I can find no technical information on the Albrecht, But I do have a few picture's. Believe it or not there is one for sale on the internet for $3000.00.The first two pictures that are colored of course is the one for sale.I will keep looking for you, I know I have a loy of photos of this amazing mortar.

thank you for posting those great pics.


One of them is scanned from a book and I think its caption is wrong because I know this mortar was produced in several calibres, all of them wider than 10 cm.
