That's rather nice. I bet someone will come back and say the wheels are wrong. Happy to prove the wheels are correct if the need arises.

Ah, someone always has to ask.

Both the Crossley staff cars and tenders occasionally used disc wheels. Actually there were canvas covers over the spoke wheels giving the impression of disc wheels.

Interesting that both front tyres look different, not a lot of grip on the one closest to the camera.

Already have my next little dio lined up for this one

Solid wheel discs! Not like this adds anything to the WW1 conversation but in the US in the teens and twenties, solid wheel discs where like big chrome rims are now. All the "swells" had them.

Neat! I recall that the Reviresco Mercedes 1913 Staff car also had disc wheels (of course that kit is much much rougher than this jewel) Perhaps it was customary on off road conditions?
One thing that I notice on the real car photo: the front discs are convex, while the rear ones are slightly concave. This is perhaps due to the rear wheels being doubled up?

Thanks to you all,a great response.

From the masters I will be bringing out the Tender and Ambulance versions. These will have wire wheels.

Cheers
