Knox tractor and La Buire trailer 1/35, in progress
Permalink

Hi!

My last Christmas gift was a 1/35 the american Knox tractor and the french La Buire trailer from Blitz, in the idea to built one of the first, even not the first Tank transporter in the world.

I first turn to the trailer, only achieve minimal work on the tractor yet, only to be sure the two parts will fit good enough...

Then I finished the trailer :

It could be displayed moving or loading :

The trailer is strong enough to carry a Schneider, but as the model is not yet available I try with a support FT with 75BS :

Time to finish the Knox now!

All the best!

Thank you very much!
Pages 14-18 is an especially interesting web page, especially on the "artillery spéciale".

About the fig, it a very old resine base (it was a WW2 GI winter dressed) with Verlinden head.
