I was scanning Google today when I cam across a program by TurboSquid that renders objects in 3-dimensional format. They have a program "Trucks of the World War 1 Time Period" which rendered some awesome 3D displays including a Model-T Ford Ambulance, FWD, Dennis, LGOC omnibus, et cetera, of which I'm attaching a couple of images. Truly stupendous! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find additional information about the program. And, boys and girls, the best thing is that you can purchase this program for only $299 . . . order today! Doesn't say how many box tops you need . . .
The problem with this is that you'd be buying something the quality of which is entirely dependent on the CAD draftsmen (almost certainly amateurs) who have contributed work. I've seen, for example, previews of a couple of different TurboSquid renderings of the Big Bertha. One doesn't look very accurate, one looks superb. But I only know which is any good because over the years I've gathered loads of books and hundreds of images of the weapon and can tell whether something 'looks right' or not. Slap something like that Ford truck in front of me and I wouldn't have a clue. And for $299 I'd be very wary.

I should also point out that TurboSquid is not itself a 3D CG program, it's actually an online shop for 3D CG models. And what you would be buying (Trucks of the World War 1 Time Period) is not itself a program but a collection of 3D CG model files rendered, it would appear, using various 3D CG packages (such as Maya, Lightwave etc.).
