If you are planning on building A13 then you would do well to look at the thread on the Mk1 tank - Grenade Canopy. This tank, like A17 was equipped with the extension to the rear.

Well, I have the 'female' courtesy of Mk1 Nut. I will be going through the build in the "Building the Master Box Mk1 tank" thread. But, I shall build an Airfix version along side for comparison and because it seems a waste to throw the improved steering tail I have made.
