British Mark IV Tank Scale 1/10
Permalink

Hello,

in this way I like to introduce myself. I am 52 years old, and like to restart building rc-tanks. A couple of years ago I started a Mark IV Projekt in scale 1/10. At that time

I had the chance to work on laser cutting machines...but that is over since 5 years. In future I will do this metalwork on a cnc milling machine, but that will still take some time.

So what I can show you? ...I will say, a picture will say more than thousand words...

That´s it for today. I still think about to bring forward another project, a A7V in the same scale. But this all will take some time, so please be patient ...wink

Best regards from Germany,

Volker

Schnuck.

Excellent build, truly good work. Will these tanks be motorised?

If your building the British tank, you have to build an A7V.....

...thanks for the compliment. And yes, all tanks will be motorized, and radio controlled. I will build the A7V before I will finish this Mark IV project.

Hi Volker,

That's a great model you have on the go there, I especially like the track. Is that conveyor link I see hiding under the track plates?

I hope you don't mind me asking, but how did you press your track plates, as I still have that to do on my model.

Hi Helen,

I built a smal equipment to stamp these plates with a hand lever press. Material is steel sheet 0,8mm . With the same press and a special tool I riveted

also the 8 rivets in one time each plate.  I will do some more pics to show you.
