Officers or not- Bring em on!!!

These two look great- I've already built them in my head and have them standing next to a staff car watching as the Takom Mk.IV trundles past.....

It's a great time for lovers of 1:35th boiler plate armour!biggrin

Regards,

David Scorer.

The chap in coveralls is only a Sgt so a Hornet head could "ring the changes" if one so wishes

Unfortunately he's wearing a shirt and tie - which only Officers in WW1 would do (a Sergeant would have a collarless shirt of grey flannel with a white/blue striped ticking at the top) - he's also acquired an Officers pistol holster (Sam Browne equipment) whereas it would be an open topped one as I'm wearing. Always happy to share images of various kit etc if anyone is ever interested

Great idea! Do you have pictures of the NCO shirt? Would a taker carry a full set of webbing equipment as well? I always thought that a WW2 aircraft erk could be converted to a WW1 tanker, but I'm having doubts about it.
