I did my Hobby Boss Schneider CA.1 in the markings of the AS.5 when supporting the AEF 1st Division at Cantigny in 1918.
As I mentioned in a previous discussion, the kit lacks the undercarriage detail. The kit track does not go together very well due to a lack of any positive mating features. I replaced the applique armor on the kit that is too thick to be convincing. There is a lot of small detail that HB either doesn't show, or misunderstands. I updated mine to show the later configuration with the external fuel tanks and added left side door. The AEF figure with Chauchat is a conversion. The markings are either from the spares box or printed using plain white decal sheet (camel, oil drum markings)

Definitively a great work!
I'm very impressed you convert it to M2 standard. The model is yet announced on the Hobby Boss range.
Very nice camo!

Tobias: I cannot agree more about the HOBBY BOSS tracks: They are a nuisance, and HB provide only the exact number of parts needed, so if the carpet monster eats one of the small parts or you ruin it in another way, you are lost. I contemplated using the FT-17 tracks, too, but I am afraid they look only a little bit like the Schneider's ones, but look at the attached photo, these seem to be more soft in the contours.
Recently I met and asked the owner of Friulmodel, the tracks guy, if he would produce Schneider tracks in the near future. Unfortunately, however, there seems to be just one example available for taking measures and pictures at the Saumur tank museum, and he does not plan to go there.
In case one of our forum members has the opportunity to take measures and photos at Saumur, he would gladly prepare tracks for the Schneider.
