New Revell figure set
Permalink

Hello all

Revell announced a figure set in 1/35 scale: "WW I Infantry German/ British/ French (1914)", product code 02451.

The German part of this set consists of three sprues: one sprue with four figures and two sprues with the

equipment (weapons, helmets, canteens, ammo pouches, spades etc.). The British and French have got two

sprues each, one with four figures and one with the equipment. There is a 16page instruction.

This set will sale for about 20 Euros.

Are these the ICM products?

Regards

Thomas

Hello Thomas
It seems that it is the ICM figures , as far as I can see from the box art and the description of the spurs.
ICM figures are of very good quality.( Just be careful to remove the Lebel bayonets from the sprue , they break easily)
For 20 euros , it is a very good deal
Best Regards
Olivier

In my opinion it's a very nice box art.

Hi
On my side I bought the ICM german and french kits few weeks ago.
I am in the process of a scene of bayonet fighting during bataille de la marne . the 4 frenchs versus the 4 germans .
The combat of " Vaux Marie" . A terrific hand to hand fighting ( french were submerged by night bayonet attack but counter attacked with heavy losses)
I am painting 2 of the frenchs as "chasseurs a pied " ( Just have to paint all uniform dark blue ) , the 2 others remaining standard "infanterie de ligne".
Please note that ICM and Revell are wrong about french kepi : there was a dark blue cover on the Kepis to mask the red color of infanterie de ligne for the " tenue de campagne"
The sprue with french accessories permit to vary the kits on the backpacks ( Boutheon / plat a quatre...)
For sure in the UK people will go more on using the english soldier kit....
Best regards
Olivier
