Three Intriguing Question's Can any one help????

Ok guys here is 3 intriguing question.


 1.Does any one have a census of how many Mk’s of every type was produced, how many were male and how many were female,also how many were converted into wireless, transport etc


.


  2. Are there any records concerning how many Gun Carriers were built and what there names and numbers were?? How many were used as transport, and converted to the crane versions ??( By the way what is the correct name for this version).


 


  3. Is there a census of how many Whippets were build, Names and numbers.


 


I figured I would just ask all three questions at once. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Devil's Chariots contains details for each type up to and including Mk V of how many, how many male and female and the range of numbers for each sex.
What it doesn't do is show how many were subsequntly converted to other uses. As some of these conversions were done in the field these numbers might be hard to come by however we can make some estimates of how many wireless tanks. Thus by the time of Cambrai there was an allocation of two wireless tanks per company so by extrapolating from the numbers of companies we could estimate how many wireless tanks. by this time they were almost certainly MkIVs (Mk I wireless tanks seem to have been retained for training) from here on it gets hazy as Mk I wireless tanks were all female with the wireless equipment housed in a sponson. However I suspect that the Mk IV female sponson might have been too small and MkIV wireless might have been male. Asd I have not found a single photo of any Mk IV wireless its impossible to the sure.
