Forgive me if I have posted this in the wrong place.
Can anyone please help me identify the markings on this old shell? I have searched the net for one with similar markings but have had no luck.
At first I thought the "LANK" was supposed to be "BLANK" but if it had a "B" that would mean the markings would not be symmetrical. Perhaps place of manufacturer? I don't know.
I am in New Zealand, were they manufactured here? I'm struggling with info.
