All we know that Renault FT TSF tank was a wireless communication sistem, but I cannot understand how the antenna was disposed. I mean, if the antenna was a metal wire/cable, was this the right placement?
That seems it´s wrong, because we can see there´s no hole on the back plate:
So, what´s the answer? This?:
(BTW, what is that rolled wire on the tail?)

The roll of wire on the tail is for the radio operator to be able to change frequency when at a static position, the operator would run the cable out between two points and attach the cable from the radio to a point on the other cable to get the frequency needed.
