I feel as if this is a well-known photo and I ought to recognise this vehicle. The IWM describes it as "British tank crossing a trench whilst on its way to take part in the Battle of Cambrai, November 1917." You'll notice the first pattern female sponson adapted to take Lewis guns, and grousers fitted. Can anyone i.d. the tank and place it?

Brilliant, Valeriy. Thank you very much. Have found details and photos thanks to you. So she was destroyed by friendly fire in April 1917, and can't have been at Cambrai.
