Bonsoir John,

With the photos number 3, 7 and 9, I can said (with trees in the background) that these photos were done in Bourron.

Bourron, South of Fontainebleau, was an Artillerie Spéciale Base from July 1918 until begenning of 1919.

The 2nd Battalion from 2nd Motor Mechanic (7th, 8 th, 9th, 10th and 16th Coy) was under Opcom Artillerie Spéciale.

These Coys was in Bourron (probably two) and in Martigny-les-Bains, an other Artillerie Spéciale Base, (probably three)

to repair French and also American Renault FT.

You can see that ace was on the rear tank (and not on the turret, like American Renault FT)
