looking at some photos of Beute-Mark IV's in the Tankograd books i noticed two hooks on the front of the roof of the drivers cabin.
I have not yet found these hooks on a Mark IV in British service but i do not have that much photos. I have also not found these hooks on all other Beute-Mark IV's....
So, can anyone tell what these hooks were for?
Were these hooks original on the mark IV's when leaving the factory or was it a "German thing"?
Best regards,
Willem

It's a British thing: the positioning hooks for the fascine, although pushed down so not to obstruct the movement of the unditching beam. Many - but not all - tanks at Cambrai had them.
