Has anyone else noticed "new and improved" seems to mean it doesn't work as well as it used to?

I tried over a three hour period last night without success, now, bang it's there.
I notice that you're in Brisbane - if you're Telstra victim (customer?) it may be Telstra's DNS server doing strange things
again. I had a week or so of websites just vanishing when Telstra rolled out their new cable modem. My solution was to
abandon the evil empire and switch to Optus (they aren't much better but at least they speak English and don't just walk away
from problems). If that isn't an option and you can change your DNS server address change the address to 8.8.8.8 (Google's DNS server).
If you're connecting via a reseller like DoDo then it depends where the reseller is sourcing their bandwidth - it's often Telstra.
