Have spent a lot of time using Gallica over the past few years and found some excellent reference materiel.  Unfortunatately, I've not had much luck finding information on WW1 vehicles.  Are you aware of anything describing French or German trucks with drawings and dimensional data?

 Sorry but no. I did find a manual on towing artillery but this was a procedural manual rather than a description of material.

There are scans of a journal "Camions et Tracteurs" on Gallica published just after WW1 - might be worth a look.
