Craig - correct me if I'm wrong, but I couldn't see the Mk V*, now at Fort Benning, on your site. Link here: http://preservedtanks.com/Image.aspx?PhotoID=4488&UniqueID=1174&Page=0 Note the camo.

Also, came across this on ebay:

All 3 Rhomboids at Fort Benning are indoors, The Mark V* is in Preservation.

On the www-tank-hunter.com website I normally only put up tanks that the public have access to and use photographs I have taken. At present most of the surviving tanks that were at Aberdeen are now at three different sites being stored or restored but the public have no access at this time unless you get a special invitation.

I do have a couple of photos of the Mark VIII on the site but state that there is no access to these vehicles at this time.

I am going to Parola Tank Museum Finland on Wednesday to take photos of all their WW2 tanks that are still kept outside before the building work starts on the new tank shelter and they are all moved under cover.

When the new Museums are built in the US I will buy some tickets to take photos.

I work closely with Pierre-Oliver Baun who runs the Surviving Panzer website (http://the.shadock.free.fr/Surviving_Panzers.html) which is more comprehensive but not as informative. He is staying at my house in London in June and we plan to go to Bovington twice and IWM Duxford.

Thanks for posting the photos. I had not seen them before.

I know. The link was just for your reference, in case you weren't aware of the V*.

Hello Craig!  (Good Scot name, by the way)

Enjoy your research in Finland!   I might remind you, Hämeenlinna is just down the highway from Parola.  You wouldn't want to miss that locale in the event a fellow member of this site was in dire need of artillerie details.
